How do I get started with Faulkner?
Simply paste your text into the editor or start writing. Faulkner will automatically analyze your writing and highlight areas for improvement. Click on any highlight to see AI-powered suggestions.
What do the different colors mean?
Red highlights indicate very hard to read sentences, yellow shows hard to read sentences, blue marks passive voice or weak phrases, purple indicates complex words with simpler alternatives, and green shows grammar errors.
Can I choose different AI models?
Yes! Faulkner supports multiple AI models including Llama 3.1, WizardLM, and Mixtral. You can select your preferred model from the dropdown in the editor header.
What is Voice Context?
Voice Context allows you to paste sample text that represents your desired writing style. The AI will use this to provide suggestions that match your unique voice and tone.
Is my writing data secure?
Yes. Your text is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
What does "beta" mean for Faulkner?
